Edge Tools Bridge
A few tools need to reach other websites — the curl playground, remote module imports, the Video Downloader, and Git Clone. Browsers block those cross-origin requests from a page like this one. The optional Bridge extension relays them through its own background context, so those tools work without any server of ours in the middle. Everything still happens on your machine; we never see your requests.

Legal
Edge Tools does not have a backend server. No files or data are uploaded, stored, or processed remotely. All processing happens locally in your browser using JavaScript and WebAssembly.
This application uses Simple Analytics to count page views. It collects no personal data, sets no cookies, and does no fingerprinting.
The contact form is powered by Web3Forms. Form submissions (your message and optional email) are transmitted to Web3Forms' servers solely to deliver the message. No data is retained by Edge Tools.
Error and performance monitoring is provided by GitLab via Sentry-compatible error tracking. Diagnostic data (stack traces, browser/OS version, page URL at the time of an error) may be collected when a JavaScript error occurs. No personally identifiable information is attached to these reports.
The software is provided as-is, without warranty of any kind. Use it at your own discretion.
